Our investment strategy is perhaps more long term than traditional private equity investing, given the nature of our markets and the nascent investment frameworks. A strong degree of patience and commitment to investments is therefore required. We recognize that many management teams have never operated under rigorous reporting requirements and therefore this cultural shift needs to be astutely managed, with mutual co-operation and shared visions.
